GREENLEE SWIM and the LRB® (little recycled bikini) were born from a single mission, to create minimal, yet well designed swimwear that has a positive impact on the planet. The concept is based around the simple idea of mix and match swim separates in classic yet modern silhouettes. Utilizing minimal hardware and elastics, many of GREENLEE SWIM's styles feature signature long, thick “sailor” ties that accommodate a more adjustable fit.
GREENLEE SWIM is designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, California. The brand debuted in the national marketplace in January 2013, offering mix and match solids. Since then, the brand has added seasonal mix and match prints to the collection.
Swimwear with a Conscience®
All GREENLEE swimwear is made from 82-83% recycled fibers, making the conscious effort to only use high-end, man-made yarn from a recycled origin. These conscious efforts continue in the GREENLEE SWIM day-to-day operations from start to finish. Partnering with both local and global charitable organizations, GREENLEE SWIM understands the importance in giving back with past and current support of Global Green USA, Heal The Bay, HoneyLove.org, and most recently The Rainforest Partnership. Through co-sponsorships, event proceed donations, and even the creation of an exclusive Global Green Bikini that was announced at the 2014 Global Green Pre-Oscar Party.
Since launching in key retailers in 2013, such as Molly Brown’s Swimwear, Diane’s Beachwear, and The Beverly Hills Bikini Shop, GREENLEE SWIM has gone global. The label now has distribution in Australia, Canada, and Mexico.
The GREENLEE SWIM girl is young and young at heart, hip and eco conscious, today’s version of the classic “California Girl.” Celebrities and Influencers such as Beyoncé, Brooklyn Decker, Camila Alves, Rocky Barnes, Aubrey O'Day and Sports Illustrated Model Genevieve Morton may all be spotted wearing GREENLEE SWIM Bikinis.
